Week 6 preGump

Watching the “elite” games of the day so far, I’m seeing talented teams that are incompetent squeezing by competent teams that lack talent. 

Honeymoon’s over for Sumrall.  Sakerlina just scored again: 31-13 — and the next two teams for Florida? Georgia, Texas.  

Matt Rhule is the stupidest man in America.  

Up 10 with 13 minutes to play, loses at home by a FG.  this is his fifth or sixth year, I think you have to fire him now.

Mizzou ices this one away.  27-6, and they Tigers move to 5-1.  A&M is cooked.  

UNC hangs on. Bill Belichick finally gets a signature win at Carolina, 21-17on the road against number 25 Pitt.  

It winds up not costing them, but then they idiotic Return man fields the point at the 5 yard.

Clinging on desperately to a field goal lead at home, Matt Rhule is going to have to punt to Indiana, with 5:40 left and IU has all their timeouts.  

playing not to lose is going to lose them this game

Mizzou is comfy swapping a TD for a FG. 10 mins left in the 4th, both teams going an extended drive for the score. 

20-6, Tigers.  

Damn. Now Pesky UNC has the lead on the road, 21-17, with the ball and driving. About 7:20 left.  

pitt could be in trouble

I told y’all this morning, the talent isn’t quite there yet, but North Carolina is playing a lot better football this year

Nebraska can’t handle success.  

Immediately gives up a 75-yard TD pass.  17-12, PAT upcoming.  IU looking for 2. TO Nubber

Indiana and Nebraska are genuinely playing some terrible football

If UNL loses this game they can blame their own timidity and lack of discipline.  

After forcing Indiana to punt from the two, they get the ball in plus territory at the 40 yard line, then take a sack, then dive at the line of scrimmage twice, then commit a false start, then take a delay of gain penalty, and have to punt it back from the 45   

Just incredibly poor discipline, stupid football. And as chickenshit as you’ll ever see.  

The only bright spot is that Indiana now has the ball at the 1 yard line
