Few things are as pretty as a gutsy run up the middle, pushing through traffic for a TD.

Soft ass calls, and terminal stupidity gives State free points and a boost of life entering the locker room: 28-17 at the break.

Hands to the face, soft zone on 3rd and a mile, and back to back DPI gets MSU to the 2. State loses yards and a run then incurs a holding. Tide holds to 3.

BUT that was as stupid and as poorly a played quarter as you’ve seen 2026 Alabama have.

Bama’s drive snuffed out as Lottie lets one doink off his fingertips. Sure, 12 missed him by about 2 inches, but If it hits your hands, you have to catch it. That has always been the rule. He needed to layout for that one.

Hill needs to be especially careful, there are 2 freshman and a returning Dear that could relegate him to the bench.

Too boom or bust? He was a decoy on Keelon’s TD run. The staff knows the tendencies they’ve put on tape. McElroy said that it was around 70% of the time when Crowell was in, he got the ball.
